Pulau Ubin Trip Details

Dear Onesters,

Details about the trip:

1. Date: 16thMarch Monday


2. Time: Meet @ 9.30am


3. Place ofMeet up: Bus Stop next to Sengkang Shell Petrol Kiosk


4. Time: 9.30am to 6pm (approximately) if eating dinner, catching sunset etc, timing will be different.


5. Things to bring (better if u have, dun hv nvm): insect repellent, $1 poncho (can be bought @ changi), camera, water, tidbits (if u must hv somethin in ur stomach, $ ($10 should be euff for food+ transport). Boat ride is $2.50 1 way.


6. Itiniery: Meet up at Seng Kang Shell Bus stop, board bus to Changi Village, arrival@ changi village, quick brunch if needed, board bumboat to Ubin, arrival @ Ubin Jetty, mangroves @ jetty, walkthru the village center, Hike north along jalan ubin, then right at jalan durian, trek to Chek Jawa (the low tidewont occur during the time we are there, so we willmiss seeing the place at low tide, but shld b a good visit anyway) , trek to Mamam Beach in the north, trek down south backto village, then pop by Pekan Quarry, catch sunset at beach beside quarry,board bumboat to changi, makan (optional),then bus back to SK.


7. If its on a monday, theres a possibility tat we can cycle, coz it wont be very crowded, but we'll see if everyone can cycle. if not , its ok.


8. we can takephotos along the way, and i'll give u all 'lessons' here and there as we walk.


9. Please update the people who r going on the tagboard, so we wont be waiting for someone who is not going in the 1st place. Leave urnames there. thanks
